Senators v Blues/Indians

Sep 6, 2015 - The Senators played their second fixture of the season against the new Blues Old Boys last Sunday, this time the Blues' numbers being bolstered by Indians players. Even so, their total only numbered 7 players, so the Senators had to give them 5 players in order to play a bit of 12 v 12. The Blues/Indians/Senators team started well with a runaway try in the first few minutes after a good break by dangerous-looking Senators centre Ed Gaffney, finished by Blues flyer "Wheels". Gaffney, as usual, retired injured shortly after that with his recurring cuticle injury. The Senators then proceeded to run riot, scoring seemingly almost at will, racking up an almost uncountable number of dazzling tries. Returning to the Senators squad was Man-of-the-Match Mike Storeshaw.

Next game v Kingston (away) on Sunday 13th September (1:30 p.m. kick off).
