Senators shine in Syracuse!

Sep 30, 2013 - The Senators pulled off a famous victory last Saturday against the Syracuse Chargers, in Syracuse. A much-improved line-out and scrummaging display saw some good ball being given to the rampant Senators backs, resulting in tries for Captain Warren "Bokke" Clifford, Chris "Twinkle Toes" Begley, and Brett "No Name" Whitehead. A fourth try was added by battering-ram-like No.8 Mark "The Only Gay in the Village" Patterson, assisted by Bokke. Two tries were converted. Syracuse responded with three tries of their own, one of which was converted. Final score: 17-24 to the Senators - a most enjoyable game!

The post-game festivities started as soon as the final whistle blew, firstly at J Ryans pub and then at Daisy Duke's rodeo bar - a dozen or so Senators plus several WAGs stayed overnight in Syracuse to party hard. Check out the pictures on our Facebook page for further gory details...!
