Nov 5, 2012 - A full Senators squad, in excess of 25 players ranging in age from 35 to 70 years old, braved the icy TERP wind last Saturday to take on the Barrhaven Scottish in the season finale. The match replaced the traditional Captain's v President's game. The harsh, wintry conditions combined with the ever-changing Senators personnel on the pitch led to a scrappy, disjointed affair, but everyone got game time and enjoyed the final fling of the year. The Scottish won the game 3-1, but on this day it was all about getting bodies on the pitch - apart from Captain Darren Elder, who did his best to get his body thrown off the pitch - and succeeded, as he was red-carded after 10 minutes for scratching the makeup off the cheek of a Scottish forward...
